Coopersburg, PA Job
Job Description:
This project required the entire removal of an elevated stone porch and rebuilding it on the same footprint. The support walls were bulging. The treads pitched the wrong way. Sunken patio stones allowed the pooling of water and allowed ice to form. Improper drainage caused further sinking and bulging so that a wholesale renewal was warranted. A buried oil tank was anticipate. Although the fuel tank was buried for 40 years it still had good waste oil in it that was sold as such and the iron tank also was sold as scrap to recover some funds for the owner. The project was surrounded by all the work our Craftwork Training Center accomplished to restore all doors, windows, shutters and wood gingerbread work while the masonry project was being accomplished. | View Next Job Back to Topics |
