One bag of NHL 3.5 mixed with 2-1/2 parts sand will:

  1. Lay about 160 standard brick
  2. Repoint about 300 square feet of standard brick joints @ 3/8″ wide and 3/4″ deep
  3. Repoint about 900 lineal feet of standard brick joints @ 3/8″ wide and 3/4″ deep
  4. Lay about 40 standard 8″ x 8″ x 16″ block
  5. Stucco about 50 square feet @ 3/4″ thick
  6. Require 150 bags for 1000 square feet of mass stone wall laying at a depth of 24″
  7. Repoint about 50 square feet of rubble stone wall @ 1″ wide and 1-1/4″ deep

One bag of Ecologicā„¢ Mortar will:

  1. Lay about 40 standard brick
  2. Lay about 10 standard 8″ x 8″ x 16″ block
  3. Repoint about 40 square feet of standard brick joints @ 3/8″ wide and 3/4″ deep
  4. Repoint about 100 lineal feet of standard brick joints @ 3/8″ wide and 3/4″ deep
  5. Repoint about 15 square feet of rubble stone wall @ 1″ wide and 1-1/4″ deep
  6. Repoint about 80 square feet of butter joint at less than Ā¼” wide and Ā¾” deep
  7. Stucco about 6 square feet @ 3/4″ thick
  8. Stucco about 21 square feet of finish coat @ 3/16″ thick
  9. Bond coat with 50 lb. bag of Takcoat Platinum (TPC) about 55 square feet @ 3/16″ thick or 165 square feet @ 1/16″ thick

  • 1 gallon of lime paint will cover about 175 square feet
  • Add 1 bag of NHL 2 for every 2 bags of Ecologicā„¢ Mortar to make a Venetian Plaster
