Craftwork Training Center Announces the 2026 Workshop Schedule
The Craftwork Training Center at LimeWorks.us is proud to announce our 2026 schedule of hands-on workshops—a full year of opportunities for tradespeople, preservation professionals, and passionate homeowners to strengthen their skills, connect with the craft, and build confidence in traditional materials and methods.
This year’s lineup features the return of our popular Hempcrete workshops, the first-ever JAM Certified Installer workshops for both Lithomex® and Ecologic™ Brand Lime Mortar Repointing, and expanded offerings for participants ready to level up from introductory courses.
Back & Better: Hempcrete Workshops
After overwhelming interest and success in past years, Hempcrete is back.
Participants will learn the science and technique behind one of the most sustainable wall systems in the world, using Saint-Astier® Natural Hydraulic Lime binders and hemphurds to create a breathable, high-performance insulation system. From mixing to forming and curing, this workshop offers a practical foundation for building greener, longer-lasting walls.
Notably, this workshop features spraying done on the Euromair® propulsion system.
Keep Building Your Skills
The 2026 schedule also includes advanced-level sessions for those who’ve already completed our Introduction to Lime Plaster, Lithomex®, or Historic Masonry workshops. These “Level II & Level III” courses are designed to help participants move from practice to proficiency—refining tool techniques, improving consistency, and tackling more complex restoration scenarios.

The Craftwork Training Center is proud to introduce the first “JAM” (Juried-Art/Master) Certified Installer workshops, designed to take technical knowledge and craftsmanship to the next level.

JAM-01 – Certified Installer Lithomex® Family of Materials: Learn to restore and reshape stonework using this versatile, color-matched lime-based patching material. Certified training ensures students leave with tested methods and hands-on experience in professional-level stone restoration.

JAM-02 – Certified Installer in Repointing with Ecologic™ Brand Lime Mortar: Dive deep into the art and science of lime mortar repointing—covering everything from joint preparation to finish textures—earning JAM certification for excellence in application and materials understanding.
